Deb Dutta is a senior technology executive with 24 years in business and operations in Asia Pacific and Japan with stints in multi-national companies and local start-ups. His contribution in organization transformation, rapid sequential business growth and strategic leadership has generated multi-billion dollar cumulative revenue streams from 17 countries.

As an integral member of impactful executive teams, Deb builds successful businesses, strategies, go-to-market models and high performance multinational teams. He is an expert at directing growth initiatives, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and organization optimization delivering revenue, margin and share growth. He has an enviable track record of leading two very successful start-up global companies in Asia Pacific through dramatic growth in revenue, share, footprint and infrastructure – McAfee (1997) and Brocade Communications (since 2001).

Since January 2004, Deb has been Vice President, Asia Pacific for the now 2.1 billion dollar networking leader, Brocade Communications. Having joined the company in 2001, Deb was promoted twice before his current position. Deb and his team have since grown the Asia operation of the organization faster than the market, competition and rest of the company. While doing so, Deb and the Brocade leadership team made the company one of Fortune magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For” two years in a row – 2009, 2010!

Deb has a true passion for mentoring people and organizations on workplace readiness, leadership development and personal branding. He is a prolific blogger, a frequent contributor at technology, business and educational forums as a speaker and writes regularly in regional business and technology publications.

An avid sportsperson and natural competitor, Deb holds a Masters degree in Economics from the University of Calcutta and an MBA from the University of South Australia. He resides in Singapore with his wife Mousumi and daughters Airashi and Aria.
